DoNotIron
Hello folks, i installed OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.3 (update to 10.6.8) on my Dell XPS 600. So far, i can't get my network working, but when booting with the Nawcom boot-cd, it works fine. I tried #####, some kextes and restarts, but that doesn't help. All other components work fine. Dell uses nVidia chipset (Nvidia nForce4-SLI) in this Mainboard, not Intel! #####-CDs didn't work to install OSX, so i tried the Nawcom-boot-cd and it works without problems. DoNotIron
Problem solved - for now. nForceLan.kext was missing, i put it in the extensions-folder and after a few minutes the network-controller worked. So i loaded the combo-update 10.6.8 and legacy.kext. Thanks!
