OSx86ers
Hi, I have a GA-945GCMX-S2 running 10.6.7 vanilla using a DSDT. There was a power outage which caused my sound card to drop audio from the left speaker. This is a dual boot machine, I checked it on Windows 7 and there too there is no sound from the left speaker. I have a bluetooth dongle which gets stereo perfectly. I tried different speakers, headphones, booting to a different OS... VoodooHDA was used to enable sound. The only way out is to use a different jack for stereo. I believe it is possible to configure the pins. I never use the microphone jack or any other jack than the green for stereo. Any idea how to go about doing that? Thanks.
OSx86ers
Something like this would be awesome http://voices.canoni...headphone-jack/ After googling, I found that what I want to achieve is called "jack retasking" Does anybody know how to do that?
