Is there any way that i can use my PS/2 mouse during installation of OS X lion?

I've been told that i need a usb mouse because lion doesn't support PS/2.

I am using iAtkos L2. Is it possible to use a usb mouse just for installation, and then use the PS/2 mouse with the required kext afterwards?

You need a properly working PS/2 driver to be present on the installation media (either OS X DVD or boot cd if you use one).

By default OS X doesn't support PS/2 at all. Its not the Lion's "feature".

Yes, it is. Provided you will install PS/2 driver afterwards.

There is a ps/2 driver included on iAtkos L2, but my ps/2 mouse doesn't work.

Can i manually add the kext to the iatkos disk image?

if so, how?

You can't do it, but you could try using a cdboot with voodooPS/2controller + Snow Leopard Retail.

I suggest you a mouse usb :P

If i use a usb mouse, will i be able to use a ps/2 keyboard, because what's weird is that the keyboard works for me during the installation of iAtkos L, but the mouse doesn't.

Do you think i can find a way to install iAtkos L using just the keyboard?
