Cero99
Hello, i've got a problem with my Intel HDA audio card (i've got an HP Probook 6550b with Intel i5). I used VoodooHDA 2.73 and it works (i got working also the volume and the mute), but sometimes, randomly, i get kernel panics and i have to delete the kext under Windows, then boot into Lion and reinstall the kext. I don't know what to do, i read that AppleHDA supports IntelHDA but i don't know how to enable it (as far as i understood, AppleHDA needs to be enabled by DSDT and i'm totally new to this). Any help? terramir
voodooHDA forceably probes the pin configuration and besides sometimes not getting it right it's very true that it causes KP's at random and sometimes in seemingly unrelated stuff. I've had cpu kp's that disappeared once I got a patched appleHDA so it's strange to say the least. Try to get a patched kext that works with your audio. terramir
