My apps keep quitting

Hey, I got Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my computer but whenever I try to install Chrome, Minecraft, or sometimes iTunes. It gives me this error message saying "iTunes has unexpectedly stopped..." People keep telling me to get an AMD patch, but what do I get?

My Specs are: AMD 6700 Series Video Card

M4A78T-E Asus Motherboard

And a AMD Anthlon II X4 620 Processor
