g2hdeadhead Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Ok I need help. This is my first hackintosh install. I used Empire EFI for AMD and a Retail Snow Leopard DVD. It installed and booted fine. But I have a couple of issues. Im only able to see 1gb of my Ram, I have no sound, and I need to get my video working correctly. I used the no cache option in the efi boot menu, otherwise it runs really slow. I have worked a week to get this far trying different distros and what not. I was only able to get this far by using this method. I have no idea on kext or installing kernels. I NEED HELP, would be very appreciated. Ive tried ram in different slots and speeds to see if I can get more 1gb. System specs are ASUS m3n-ht deluxe Phenom ii 940 CPU at 3.0 ghz, had to disable overclock EVGA 9800gt, had to remove one WD 320gb sata AHCI enabled in bios 4gb KINGSTON hyperx 1066, had to clock to 800 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
