xcode problems

I have started getting in to coding and whenever I open up xcode everything runs fine, when i click build and go it runs fine, but the second time I press build and go after I make my corrections it freezes up and quits responding. Are these the symtoms of a corrupt install? a piece of s*** computer? or a guy that don't know what he is doing?

I am guessing its my computer b/c I have a p4 2.4ghz 512mb of ram and a memory sucking intel gma 850 onboard video card but any opinions are welcome

My mom said "I should just do it right the first time" when i told her my computer was a piece and I needed a new one so do not reply with that

I am having a similiar problem in Xcode. The Build Results window often "locks up" during building, whereas the errors and warnings are not properly displayed. Simply restarting Xcode fixes this, but it is annoying. However Xcode itself does not freeze, the problem is merely limited to the build results windows, which is not entirely froozen either, just sort of stuck.

I do not know if this is x86 or Hackintosh related or not. I am now running Xcode 2.4, but I think this problem surfaced in 2.3. I also could be due to the fact the I am running 10.4.5, as opposed to 10.4.7.

ive been using 2.3 ever since tonight when i had to completly reinstall OS X. I now have 2.4 and have started noticing somewhat similar results. It is not as consistent for me as the "second" build, but it is happening often enough to draw my attention. Interestingly, Xcode DOES show up as "not responding" in the Force Quit menu. I dont remembering it happening in 2.3, but it might have a few times and not attracted my attention (it is a hackintosh laptop, i can live with a few system hang ups every once in a while and i fully expect them).

I guess this is something we should keep an eye on and investigate, but im not sure exactly what can be done about it(imagine trying to tell that Xcode doesnt work well/has a bug on my hackintosh!).
