DavidPeab
My name is David and I started using computers in the 80's, including the first Mac with the tiny screen built-in and 3.5" floppy drive. I have been stuck in Windows world for too long and wanted a Mac similar the G4 I occasionally use at work. Seeing the high prices of the Mac Pros, I was intrigued by the sites I found, telling me I could build my own hackintosh. Gave it a shot - have a few problems and want to post at this site to see if I can get answer. I'll be 50 next month and live in MD, USA. Married with 2 teenage daughters. Same job for 20 years - graphic artist contracting to the Fed. Gov. Not super creative but keeps a roof over our heads. Work at home and do 90% of my own IT. Know more about Macs in the last two weeks than the last half a century.
