Title says it all really.

I have a bunch of these machines i had bought on sale with 2.2ghz pentium c2d chips, 2gb fast ram, evga 7200gs, 60 gb sata2 ssd, and dvdrw.

Kk so threw in the ##### loader, started up osx 10.6 install from a thumb drive, after a minute i was at the familiar install screen. partioned the disk guid 1 piece. and began installation. Took about 12 minutes. got the green light rebooted, used ##### to start up the ssd. within seconds i was at the welcome video, did that whole bit and landed on the desktop.

I ran ##### 3.4.9 and clicked only easy beast and did the install. restarted and it started up from the ssd. I rran 10.6.8 combo update, took a few minutes, then it prompted me to restart. I ran ##### again and did again only #####.

restarted and 10 seconds later at the desktop, ran ##### and did voodoohda and hdarollback, sound works and now pretty much everything works. And its Fast.

this was literally 1000 times easier then i planned for, i feel punked almost. I have 3 more of the identical setups ill be installing on once i grab 3 more ssds. This surely does not feel like a almost 5 yr old setup that cost me less than $90 tax included. xbench and geekbenches very nicely. video worked without any tinkering.

app store everything is great, anything u click on the dock is in front of you in milliseconds.
