Hey guys,

I've been trying to install osx all day today and have just been getting errors after errors..(Thank god for the wiki page, searching through the forums is a nightmare)

Although I've now hit a slight problem that the wiki was unable to help with..

"Error: Firewire unable to determine security-mode;defaulting to full-secure.

I looked on the wikipage and it said about using the 1st ide slots for my hdd and removing any other hdd, so I took out my other hdd and put 1 in, in the main ide slot. Although, I'm still receiving the same error :/

Boot command I'm using atm :

-x -v cpus=1 acpi=off

EDIT : Do I need to make the partition for osx before installing? I currently just have win 7 on my hdd.
