Hi there, I need some help. I managed to install OS X Lion 10.7.1. I used iAtkos L1.

Graphics: External only with following settings on org.chameleon.Boot.plist:

<key>AtiConfig</key>

<string>Hoolock</string>

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>

<string>Yes</string>

The problem is that only the external screen works, the internal LCD starts showing white and black and it looks completely out of sync. The good news is that the GFX Card is working with transparencies, openGL and everything. If I set the GraphicsEnabler to No, the internal LCD works but only at 1024x768 and without any fancy graphics.

Wired LAN: Atheros AR8152 (1969:2060) Not working!!! I've seen people in this forum able to make them work, but it doesn't work for me.

Wifi: Broadcom BCM4313 (14e4:4727) Same thing with the Wired NIC, they just don't exist to this PC.

Bluetooth: Working like a charm!!! Actualy it works better than it should since is always asking me to connect my wireless keyboard and mouse, but I DON'T HAVE wireless keyboard and mouse! :)

Keyboard and Mouse: working quite well, multitouch and all, the only problem is that Bluetooth keeps wanting to connect others!!! Anyway, I'm sticking with the Laptop one's for the time being!

SD Card, doesn't work, I don't care right now!!! Since I don't have a working screen nor can I access the net.

THIS is where I need help. I'm completely dumb when it comes to hardware, but I guess (from what I've read) that all these problems might have something to do with DSDT and/or EDID.. but it's not easy to understand how to get them to work.. can anyone help?!

UPDATE: Graphics card working. The catch is how to get the EDID. Linux option didn't work. The only way I managed to get the EDID was using windows. After that, just followed this tutorial and all was fine!

Also, update to 10.7.2 was flawless until now, just had to copy the file I made to S/L/Display/Overrides.. and the correct folder for my display!

Next: Wifi, LAN, Sound... and eventually the SDCard reader!

WOW! Someone who actually installed OSx on a Toshiba, Finally! I have been trying to get my Toshiba L635 to work for months with Snow Leopard. I have managed to get 10.6.8 installed via the Atokos v2 method with ##### etc. I can get the Lan to work and mostly everything else too, and then I reboot for the first time and boom, nothing. I have tried -x, and different flags but nothing seems to work. I have attached a picture of what the screen looks like when I try to boot, it stops at the VOODOOHDA command. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I am glad to see that you were successful with your installation.

 • 4 weeks later...

The kext for ethernet you are using is for snow leopard. You will be able to boot with cable connected only and with "cpus=1" or "cpus=2"

There is no kext for Lion yet, with no issue as long as I know. You can boot with rbootLE cd from tonymacx86.com and remove the atheros l1c kext from /System/Library/Extentions/ . Good luck!
