twitterers Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 I have Dell Aurora Alienware desktop system and have installed Lion 10.7.2 on it no problems but the dvd drive now keeps hanging when I open something from the dvd drive. The problem is occurring on dvd-r maxwell dvd which I burnt some mac applications onto (office etc) and when I go to unrar the files it just ends up hanging and then drive disappears from the system and states 'No drives'. It also disappears from the bios altogether and only will reshow after a full shutdown and restart. Tested in Windows 7 and it seems to work fine.
