Raj Arayan Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 I tried to install Windows developer preview and lion so i followed the dual boot installation procedure on sony vaio FW351j. I booted with snow leopard partitioned the disk according to requirement, installed windows developer preview and then snow leopard. later installed lion and upgraded to 10.7.2. the only problem felt is networking and kernel panic after update. removed the ACPI_SMS_plugins.kext and ever thing is fine. just waiting for the GMX4500.kext, iwifi5100.kext and marvell youkon gigabyte ethernet.kext. as the kext available are not working and causing the kernel panics. good luck for others.
