CorreoMail
Hey guys I just installed Lion 10.7.2 on my hackintosh and I tried to use VoodooHDA for the audio but sometimes generates KernelPanic so I tried to make it work with DSDT and Modified AppleHDA and HDA Helper but still nothing working so maybe someone has the solution to this codec. KHIT
Try using tonymacx86 #####: Lion Edition. Select the system utilities option, and the Drivers & Bootloaders > kexts & enablers > Audio > Realtek ALC8xx, and check ALC8xxHDA and AppleHDA Rollback. It worked for my ALC889, so should work for your ALC883. You could also try finding the DSDT for your system at tonymacx86's DSDT database. tazsummers
cannot get my ALC883 to work I have a GA-G31M-ES2L rev 2 with ALC883 audio. Running ##### with DSDT on lion 10.7.4 I have tried all voodoo with no luck I have tried every alc883 kext i can find on the internet. The system profiler shows Intel High Defiinition Audio under Audio Hardware with Audio ID: 12 which I don't know what this means. I think something els maybe stopping sound form working but I've run out of things to try. Please Please Please Help This is sooooooooooooo frustrating as I've been doing this for a week!
