Hey guys I just installed Lion 10.7.2 on my hackintosh and I tried to use VoodooHDA for the audio but sometimes generates KernelPanic so I tried to make it work with DSDT and Modified AppleHDA and HDA Helper but still nothing working so maybe someone has the solution to this codec.

Select the system utilities option, and the Drivers & Bootloaders > kexts & enablers > Audio > Realtek ALC8xx, and check ALC8xxHDA and AppleHDA Rollback.
It worked for my ALC889, so should work for your ALC883.
You could also try finding the DSDT for your system at tonymacx86's DSDT database.

We do not support tonymac tools here. Once you decide to use their (crappy) tools, you should go to their forum for help.
