I currently have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed.

usb 1.0 devices seem to work fine on my usb 2.0 ports, but usb 2.0 devices wont even show up.

On boot up i get EHCI errors for my USB 2.0 devices and USB Mass storage devices.

the EHCI errors say something about could not get chip to halt within 100ms

my wifi card is usb 2.0 so i dont have wifi

i am too ineksperienced to patch the DSDT file.

i have a motherboard that is apparently unknown to everest.

I have MCP78 northbridge chipset. AMD K10 southbridge

My computer is an Acer Aspire Z5101 (if that helps)

specs:

AMD Phenom ii times 4 905e

6gb ddr3 ram

1tb hard drive

AMI Bios

ati hd 5570

boot flags -force64 arch=i386

i used the DSDT patcher GUI to make my dsdt.

i have everything working ecept for the usb 2.0 devices

if anyone can help me please reply and tell me what more you need to know.
