Rufus Sweetwater Posted October 22, 2011 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I attempted to follow This Guide using Lion installed on VMware Workstation 8. I believe I created the proper USB Stick for my laptop (HP ENVY i7 Laptop). At first it couldn't find the mach_kernel.kext, which i fixed, and now Chameleon loads with 4 drives to boot, The Mac USB stick, Windows7, my recovery HD, and a drive labeled NTFS. I selected the Mac USB stick, but when it loads it gives me the grey power button background with a message asking me to restart my PC and try again. How do I fix this? and is their a better guide I can follow? MaLd0n's guide is kinda confusing and doesn't give clear directions... I am trying to instal Lion on an HP ENVY laptop with an i7, 2.00GHz Sandy Bridge CPU, 8GBs of RAM, and a Radeon HD 6850M dedicated graphics card.
