Hello, right now i'm making a backup of my laptop's hdd in order to install OSX and XP and windows7 running on the same machine. I am familiar with computers, however i have no experience in installing OSX.

My laptop is a HP 8730w:

Motherboard: NorthBridge : Intel PM45 / SouthBridge : 82801IEM (ICH9M-E) LPC Interface Controller

CPU: Core 2 Duo T9600 @ 2.80GHz

Video: NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M 512ram gddr3

Network: Intel 82567LM Gigabit + WiFi Link 5300 AGN

Firewire (which i will need for my m-audio soundcard)

320Gb sata HDD

My first question is - what packages should i download before formatting my hdd drive? Because after i start the installation i will not have internet until i successfully boot in osx.

Right now i only have a blank DL dvd and i still don't know what to download - the Lion or the leopard? Also, should i install OSX first and then xp/7? Maybe you can point me to some trusted tutorial (there are way too many and it's kinda confusing). Maybe some best practices?

Thanks, i hope i will get this to work.
