OpenSolaris took over my bootloader - Chameleon install not working

After three days and numerous repartitions and reinstalls, I finally have a working multi-boot system (on a HP dv6500 CTO laptop) that will run OS-X SnowLeopard, OpenSolaris (2009.06) and Windows 7. (I want to install Ubuntu as well, and maybe Mint 11 but I'm afraid of screwing up what I have working so far!)

When I say "working", I mean that I can boot from my ##### CD and select/successfully boot into any of the three OS's. (And for the most part, everything is working pretty well - still a few HW issues on the Mac side to work through but no issues whatsoever in OpenSolaris or Win7.)

But when I tried installing Chameleon (2.0 rc4), it still booted up to the OpenSolaris GRUB menu. I read somewhere that sometimes you have to install Chameleon twice to get it to work; I've tried it four times with no joy.

Any help getting this to boot properly would be greatly appreciated.
