Ruca Nunes
Hello, This is my first time installing OSX on a PC. I used iATKOS OSX LION 10.7.1 and installed great. Now when I boot, I have the desktop but can't use keyboard neither trackpad. Also, I cannot activate Airport/wireless/Internet? Do I need to install some epecific .kest? I can use USB keyboard and mouse fine. Could someone please explain to me how to fix this problem? I think that I must use .kext, right? But where do I found those files for my Laptop and how do I install them? Sorry about all this questions! :-( Thank you very much!

mathq
For the Trackpad, you will indeed need VoodooPS2Controller.kext with AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext. Here are the links: http://xmath.ca/mac/VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip and http://xmath.ca/mac/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext.zip. For your Wireless card, please give us what is the model as I can't find your laptop specification. Please note that those kexts should be installed in /System/Library/Extensions commonly called /S/L/E in this community. To do so, download the kexts I gave you. They should automatically unzip. Here are the commands to enter in the Terminal: sudo cp -R ~/Downloads/VoodooPS2Controller.kext /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooPS2Controller.kext sudo cp -R ~/Downloads/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/ sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions/ sudo reboot After that, your computer will reboot and your trackpad and internal keyboard should work normally.
