What is the best symbios to use at this point for sandybridge. I've been using mac pro 3,1 since I can remember on my old build. Is there a difference in performance between going with a mac Pro 5,1 symbios (no i5-i7 cpu) or an Imac 12,1-2 that actually uses my cpu?. Thanks An iMac has a more power saving profile than a MacPro. (laptop mobile chips in a screen casing) mac Pro 5,1 use the xenon version of i7.
