MayhemMechanix
Ok, this makes absolutely NO sense to me whatsoever. Following Niresh's installation instructions, I boot with the DVD, I install the OS, I reboot with the DVD and select the drive via Chameleon... no problem. If I leave the system alone, sometimes it will boot again, sometimes I have to add the npci=0x2000 and arch=i386 flags, but then it loads fine again. The minute I follow the rest of Niresh's instructions, it all goes wahoonie shaped. If I install chameleon on that drive, and move the designated files into the extensions folder (and get told they didn't load properly) the whole thing freezes upon boot. Can anyone help me??? MayhemMechanix
I solved it after 3 days of fighting with it. In the instructions provided by Niresh, he says to copy of the com.chameleon.Boot.plist that is included in his Niresh12495 folder on the DVD. He mentions you'll have to remove AppleTYMCEDriver.kext in order to avoid kernel panics if you don't copy smbios.plist, which he does not include in the folder. Because it was booting without problems with the installer DVD's chameleon running, I copied the items in the Extra folder from the DVD, this included smbios.plist. Now everything boots, although despite the com.chameleon.Boot.plist having the arch=i386 npci=0x2000 in it, I still have to type them to avoid my mac locking up on me on boot. Now if I can only get the my GeForce GTS 450 to work properly so I can actually use some the higher resolutions of my monitor!
CaptChadd
You can get that graphics to work but injecting on EFI string for your card and then install the Quatro Nvidia drivers and Cuda.
