Got a strange problem. :) Since updating to 10.7.2 my system gets stuck 3 times out of 4 while booting up.

Just at the moment the boot screen (or verbose screen) switches to the login screen my LCD looses its signal (black screen). I had that kind of problem before when trying the 10.7.2 betas, but managed to solve it by deleting the boot caches. But now I tried everything possible without success. The weird thing is on one occasion it boots up perfectly without me changing anything, the next time it gets stuck. I see no pattern there! Since 10.5.4 I always had a (almost) flawless system.

Anyone expierienced similar?

waiting bootscreen issue resolved after kind help of several users...

update from 10.7.1 to 10.7.2 was first downloaded and than installed (important) auto update not worked in my case and dont`forget to delete S/L/E from Graphic.kexts Applecontroler.kexts as was mentioned above..

iCloud issue remains though..

Thanx to iOSX86 AppleFan91 Raul Ramos and other friends for prompt help

You can try the fix by zoliky:

in the NVidia graphics section of your DSDT.aml, replace:

"device_type"
Buffer (0x0D)
{
"NVDA,Geforce"
}

with:

"device_type"
Buffer (0x0C)
{
"NVDA,Parent"
}

Netkas Fermi CL Hack in 10.7.2. I cannot find the hex string in the 10.7.2 GeoforceGldriver? Is there a different hex string we need to modify?

I have the Nvidia GTX 560M. I am also experiencing screen freeze.

Also replaced Chameleon latest trunk r1657 with Chimera 1.5.4 r13xx.

Something is wrong with the latest Chameleon trunk causing my GTX 560M to freeze the desktop after a few moments of clicking around.

HP Z600 workstation. Upgrade process went fine, reboot failed. Intel AHCI driver info.plist changed. Had to boot my original install USB flash drive into the installer, and re-add the entry for the Intel AHCI RAID controller (Apple only has the IO id for the non-raid version). Once I added in the correct entry, it booted fine and I'm now using 10.7.2.

what's your video card model ?

Have you update to 10.7.5
