I've tried everything to put mac os in my laptop HP 425, here the specs: AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processor P320 (2.1 GHz, 1MB L2 cache) Two SODIMM 2gb Ram dual-channel memory = 4gb ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics controller with shared video memory Microsoft DirectX 10 capable mobo. HP I can't find any distribution that supports my laptop boot... most always ends in a kernel panic and I'm desperate not knowing what else to try. (Detailed) I have a AMD system too. i think that using nawcom boot cd, and a retail 10.6.3 Snow Leopard DVD (if you don't want to dual boot) if you do want to dual boot, well just search a little bit and you'll find. I could install with the retail dvd but wasn't easy to follow... (easy process, many things that I did that wasn't registered... so no full memory the steps followed) Ps.: You can boot in verbose and take some pictures to show us what's going on... Pues como te digo he probado varias distro, la verdad quisiera usar solo hackintosh sin dual boot. No he probado con Nawcom... hice varios ajustes con iAtkos pero nada funcionó. subiré las capturas en verbose mode cuanto antes. Quemá el boot cd, bootea con él, luego una vez que ya booteo lo sacas y colocás el DVD Retail de Snow Leopard y precionas F5, lo lee y tiene que aparecer... si buscas en youtube hay un monto de videos solo busca instalar osx snow leopard en AMD. Estoy un poco frustrado, yo se que no es dificil jajajajaa porque bueno, se bastante de eso, pero jum esa instalación en esta laptop si me ha dado caña! jhajajajaa muchas gracias por el aporte... seguiré investigando. ice_pdb Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 Osea, ¿qué es lo queda cargando? el installer retail dvd, o el modcd?... no se entiende...
