iAtkos vs Retail Disk

Hi guys, I have successfully installed iatkos s3v2 on my laptop with win 7 on second partition. I wanted to know if I can install Snow Leopard from a retail disk using chameleon bootloader.

I am sure I can, but I wanted to know if the retail installation would install fakesmc and other stuff which you need a hackintosh to work. BTW i am planning to use ##### bootloader to boot into retail disk.

Since you're using ##### anyways, you should use #####. Just do your retail install, boot using ##### and then install ##### using the ##### option. It will install all the kexts you need, including fakesmc.

You can use #####, or (my preferred), nawcom ModCD. The nawcom CD is cooler because it supports more chipsets and patches your DVD on the fly, just as if it were a distro. And yes, it installs Chameleon.
