Jeeper98
Ok, well I have a Dell D630 running Leopard fully, so I thought it would be good to try out Lion. I have tried everything from a regular DMG to a slipstreamed distro (Niresh and iAtkos) (Yes I bought Lion 2 times to cover it, I dont want to break my EULA) Anyhow the first time I tried it would boot, then black screen on installer. Then I switched the Hard Drive into a nVidia D630 and tried to install, everytime it got to copy a file to the HD it would freeze completely. So I put it in AHCI and it wouldnt boot the disk, I can only boot the disk in ATA mode. My 10.5 install boots in either, and I am really stumped on how to get Lion running. I have access to both an Intel GMAx3100 D630 and a nvidia d630. Thank you so much Maybe should I let the nVidia laptop sit installing while its frozen, I always get no HD activity though Maybe should I let the nVidia laptop sit installing while its frozen, I always get no HD activity though
