chrisdnow Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 Installed iATKOS v7 on Gateway MX8711 laptop on following bios settings changed from stock: plug n play os: changed to other LBA - left on dos Hardware: CPU - T2250 core duo 1.73Ghz Ram - 2GB DDR2 667Mhz CD/DVD - Optiarc DVD RW AD-7530 Audio - Intel High Def Graphics - Intel GMA 950 HardDrive - WDC-WD3200BEVT-00A23T0 - Intel Sata ICH7-M AHCI WLAN - Broadcom BCM4311 LAN - Intel pro 10/100 ve Installed with all default options only adding the following: voodoo ps2/trackpad intel gma 950 laptop broadcom BCM43xx intel wireless pro 10/100 ve voodoo hda Installed on GUID part 1 partition, installed perfectly with everything working perfectly except when it restarts it shuts down. Updated to 10.5.8 and after shutdown instead of restart, started back up and repaired disk permissions and every thing working perfectly except restart always equals shutdown.... Any thoughts?
