Mac Wireless Keyboard on Windows 7

I know this topic has been broached before, but I've gone through dozens of forums and none of them have offered anything helpful, so I thought I would give my specific details.

I have a Gateway PC DX4320 with Windows 7 (64-bit) installed and NO iteration of OS X or boot camp installed. Pure windows PC, with a peripheral Bluetooth adapter from IOGear (GBU 421) installed. The Bluetooth cannot even detect the Mac Wireless Keyboard that I'm trying to pair to it, but it can see my iPad, and so on.

I would really really love to use this keyboard on my computer; ANY advice on how to get my adapter to find the keyboard, and subsequently install it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Additional detail: Once, for a second, the adapter did see the keyboard, and when I tried to pair them, it threw up and error signal, and then the keyboard vanished

Anything at all, please help!
