An user, ways of italian forum, have linked me this page --> Link

Maybe this can help someone with HP g62 b51se

This disable Intel HD for run ONLY ati 5470

This seems a solution for users with double video card. Now, for this user, ati 5470 works well

Need:

1) Mod bios --> Link

2) Edid injection --> Link

3) Last version of chameleon

4) GraphicsEnabler=yes and Vbios=no (maybe unnecessary)

Tested by ways on Lion 10.7 and 10.7.1

But you have edited your bios? you have a laptop with 2° generation i-core

This is tested only in hp and only in 1° generation i-core

not yet

I found only 1 person in the world who deployed a modded bios f1a for our generation

that's because the recent methods (debug the bios) are not easy respect to prev bios insyde

so.. i'm afraid to test it.. but.. as soos as arrives the internal cpombo bt+wifi.. i'll try

the unlock is not what I desire.. is a slic / wifi unlock.. I suppose is not useful for me

i always edited bios.. but phoenix/awd/ami..

this is very strong.

actually I've the original fd.. and the newer bin from this user (of this forum)

so my goal is to always have turned on the wifi led.. but I suppose is due to EC register

so:I tried also to save ati bios rom.. but is horrible!

in windows/&ubuntu I see the radeon 6490m running.. but none of the atiflash/rabit/etc. etc.. are able to detect it!

why??

it seems it never exists.

so I had an idea.. but is not the discover of the hot water.

I want to save/extract the rom.. and inject the macbookpro devid of the same 6490m

but.. is recent.. and in the net I never found any trace of a rom of mine.. or a data collected for 64xx.. only for 5xxx 4xxx and 69xx PCIe card

bah

This is true, but this method is not tested on the second-generation intel i-core, and this might not work for all laptops

I am not able to help you with editing the bios, sorry
