stuppy_
Hi guys Need some help with my Hackintosh. I had been running 10.6 for ages without problem. Since updating to 10.7 I have had an issue with my CPU temps being around 8 - 10 ºC higher when idling (should idle around 35/37 but is idling at around 45). I have attached my /Extra folder for anyone who can help to have a look at. Just so you know my sound/video etc all work without issue. My system spec is in my signature. Many thanks to those who can help. Archive.zip
Noam AA
run kextstat on terminal and see if appleLPC got loaded, its part of the speed step, if your DSDT is edited fine then there isn't much to do and i don't know why it's happening... stuppy_
Hi I ran the terminal command. There is no reference to AppleLPC. Not sure if this is relevant but the CPU frequency does appear to be going up and down depending on workload. On 10.6 it was always at 2400mhz. Any help appreciated. Thanks. stuppy_
Hi Noam Thanks for that. Am away from home at the moment so cannot check your new file - but soon as I am back i'll give it a go. stuppy_
Hi Noam Thanks for the file. Just updating to 10.7.2 and have hit some more problems that I am trying to work through but in the mean time if you or anyone has any ideas. Firstly - the sound issue is back again. When i updated to 7.1 I think all I did was run a repair on permissions and it worked. I am just doing the same thing again to see if that helps but do you you know why its happening every time I upgrade? Also - my screen now turns off when I get to the desktop. I have checked my boot.plist has GraphicEnabler=Yes in. I can remote desktop to the computer so it is booting fine. Just the display turns off. I have attached a boot log for you. Cheers for any help offered. boot.rtf.zip
stuppy_
Just to update: The repair didnt work. Neither sound or display back. I have updated Chameleon to the latest rev (previously running 1003). Still no joy. I have used Chameleon Wizard to make sure that GraphicEnabler is on. Doing my head in!
