MagicDesktopSwitch animates your desktop!  This popular Mac app takes your current screensaver and uses it as your desktop background!  Having flurry float around behind your icons, a little puppy crawling around, fish swimming, water effects, the news, etc is about as cool as it gets.  If you put this in your login items, it will start up upon login.  It's Hackintosh friendly and is running smoothly on my Gigabyte MoBo i3 2100 Hackintosh right now.

It's donation-ware, meaning that if you like it, donate a dollar or two.  It's ad-free, and fully functional upon install.

Go here to download it (or check out demos on youtube).

also, on the same page is a great show-hidden-files app.

Could someone please verify that this app works in OS X.7 Lion?  I am still at 10.6.8.  Thanks in advance.

Also, if someone could verify the ShowHideSwitch and SHSwitch-SL (download for a limited time for free from my Website), I'd be appreciative.

Woot woot!

Thanks.  Does it work as a login item still too?

I'll also be updating it with a few new features pretty soon.
