Kongslien
As topic says, i really need help to get this to work. I have searched the forum without any luck. I'm trying to install it on a ASUS Eee 1001px. Hardware: Intel Atom 1.66GHz CPU 2GB RAM (upgraded) 160GB Harddrive (tried using both IDE and AHCI) External DVD-ROM from Samsung I made 2 different loaders (on 2 discs), 1 is GRUB-like (can't remember name) the other is NetbookCD (Chameleon v2.0-RC3) Loading the "loaders", works fine. Then i replace those with the Lion disc (retail, created with TransMac) and try to boot it, but that's where it all stops. I can see the symbols "spinning", but then the screen goes all black and empty. I've tried several times, but still no luck. I have also tried the "easy" guides here too. Any idea about what might be wrong? I'll provide extra info if needed. EDIT: I have no other access to Mac.
Twinnie
Are you loading it in verbose mode using the -v boot flag? Or is it happening after the GUI has loaded? I'm pretty sure that all of the stuff that needs to be done on a Mac can be done using a combination on Linux and MacDrive for Windows. There's probably a way of accessing and editing an HFS+ partition completely in Linux but I haven't found a decent solution yet.
Kongslien
Iv'e gotten a little bit further. Now it halts at "Loading HFS+ file" + some numbers. And as usual, it goes back to blank. Yeah, i tried -v boot flag.
Kongslien
Giving myself a small bump, hoping people have a suggestion as to what might be wrong.
