Using a guide I found elsewhere (pm for link) I was able to get my REVO R3700 to run Snow Leopard 10.6.7.
Specs:
Intel D525 1.8 GHz
nVidia ION 2
4GB DDR3
80GB Intel 320 SSD
Realtek Audio (working)
Realtek Ethernet (working)
Wifi module (not working)
S/PDIF (not working)
USB ports all working
HDMI (working)
Currently running smooth as butter. Hardware acceleration is up and running and I have the resolution set at 1080p. It's awesome!

For those who have been PM'ing me and those who will be PM'ing me, you can also do the following Google search:
install osx on aspire revo r3700
Check out the first link.
As an update: S/PDIF doesn't seem to work but the hardware is a selectable option in the sound settings ( I get no sound). Not sure if HDMI sound works. WLAN doesn't work but a USB WLAN works. I have heard of Lion working but I have not been able to invest the time and effort into getting that working. 10.6.8 does not work. [PCI Configuration begin] is usually where it gets stuck. Anyhow, hope this helps.
