Boot time really long

I find the boot time is really long even though I am using an SSD drive. It takes 1 minute 15 seconds from the time I select the boot drive. I am using Chameleon boot loader. Is this normal behavior or is something wrong?

It takes 30 seconds for me, which is 10 seconds more than Snow Leopard :/

Start by repairing permissions using disk utility.

After that, boot using -v to see which processes take long to finish

Get the latest version of fakesmc.kext from the ProjectOSX forums. It can run from /Extra/Extensions. If you already have one in /System/Library/Extensions, delete it. Also delete any fakesmc plugins you might have there, or at least make sure you don't have any fakesmc plugins installed that aren't specifically meant to work with your hardware.
