storkhsu
@Scotchy49 Thank you, I did try the DSDT, but got a KP, I am not knowledge enough to debug and fix, so I have to do it without DSTD at this moment.
storkhsu
Besides sleep, multi-touch, SD card reader, VGA, and HDMI output not working. I am happy with my 2 E6420 hackintosh results. I did tried one SSD drive and result is the same. I have written a user guide if you are new to this and want to do it, let me know, I will send it to you. @m45k Multi-touch does not work, the gestures is not known, plus the setting is not there under trackpad. @Scotchy49 I finally got the dsdt to work by reloading ##### on my E6420 and copy to /Extra, now restart/shutdown works just fine. RezMax Rekordz
do you know if it is possible to disable the nvidia graphic card and only use the intel hd graphic under lion? because of the battery life. Are both graphic cards installed on the Dell E6520? I only have the Intel HD 3000 reported and it comes up as 64 MB?
Luminati
Booting with Optimus Enabled when all is configured gives SLEEP.... but screen is full of artifacts and problems (unsable!, see my post http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/284568-half-screen-and-artifacts-but-makes-sleep-work-intel-hd-3000-optimus-mode-nvs-4200m/). Hope thats a hint to actually get it work. A few updates: For Native Power Management in >10.7.2 you'll need AICPMPatch (http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1003), Drop OEM SSDT, turn off GeneratePStates and CStates in plist and get SSDT from ######. For UEFI boot Clover can be used
