fussyoldfart Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I'm running Lion on a 2009 iMac with my Snow Leopard copy and files backed up on an external HD. Using rEFIt I can boot one or the other and I want to be able to continue to do that. I would like to install Linux Mint 11 on the iMac but that may displace rEFIt with another boot manager. Could I then reinstall rEFIt to gain access to all three partitions? I will be looking for advice in a Linux forum too but OS X is my main system, I want Linux Mint only so I can support someone with a decrepit old PC who cannot afford a Mac.
