mad mattco
OK. Well to start off, Hello World! Been here for awhile lurking about and such and I have finally decided to post. I have the dreaded ASUS CG5290. As some of you may know it is the stripped down version of the ASUS Rampage II Gene. Everything OS wise works wonderfully. I was using an Nvidia GTX 460 as my main card and have had no problems. I recently upgraded to an ASUS ROG PLATINUM 580. Now my problem lies in that I am no longer using the first PCI-E slot on this board. I am using the second one. Is there any specific option that I need to boot with to make the kernel see the card? The system will boot into a black screen then restart. If you need any more details please let me know.
