The Director
Hi everybody, this summer my beloved Hackintosh Leopard (retail install) left me because the system hard disk on which it was installed suddenly died. Now I'm wondering how can I made a new retail installation of a new OSx on another hard disk from my pc: what about Lion or Snow Leopard? could I succeed in it in any way without having another OSx? thanks guys

(post installation, upgrading to lion, etc) other option, if you have windows installed you can try a virtual box and install osx there, and from there prepare a USB Lion installation

With "virtual box" you mean a virtual machine running under win, right? Very helpful, thanks p.s.: in case of failure, which boot cd would yuo advice for my plain P5K?
