I succeded installing Snow Leopard on my pc, post install i decided to use 10.6.5 Combo Update.

Before the update everything runs smoothly, except for hardware accelerated graphics. (i wanted to update to 10.6.8 before using chameleon's GraphicsEnabler)

Right after update, i got a kernel panic, solved it deleting dsmos.kext from Extras folder, now i dont get a kernel panic but still i cant manage to boot the error that stops the OS load is:

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out

My specs are:

Motherboard: Intel DP45SG

Processor: Intel Q6600

Graphics Card: Visiontek ATI HD5850

Ram: 4GB DDR3

Kexts on Extra/Extensions folder:

Disabler.kext

FakeSMC.kext

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

Intel82566MM.kext

OpenHaltRestart.kext

PlatformUUID.kext

I already tried removing NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, i get rid of the error but the load gets stuck at the exact same place

Using a DSDT extracted from my pc using Everest and GraphicsEnabler=Yes

and without the DSDT using GraphicsEnabler=Yes and KernelFlags PCIRootUID=1

i get the same error

Someone has any knowledge on solving this issue?

EDIT:

Downloaded 10.6.8 combo update, did a clean install and went from 10.6.0 straight to 10.6.8 everything working great now... Will update soon to Lion, if it works ill post a guide
