aufa333 Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 am using Hackintosh for about a year and for some reason every now and then there is some god dam M***F*** problem i have to face ,anyway i got my hands on a q6600 and i installed Windows7 + SL + Lion without any problems 'used the same everything i did with my e8400' but after a a couple of restarts i got this problem which is when i chose SL or Lion to boot into , everything goes well till the point i should get to the desktop but instead the screen just turn to black and the monitor start blinking and that goes forever tried to install a new OS but the same prob happen , everything goes well till the point i should get the select the language screen but instead i get the same thing as above. *i tried everything u can imagine , -removed all the HDDs except the one that am going to install on. -changed the MB bios -add dsdt.aml + smbios to the usb -booted with -x -v -f -down-clocked the cpu to its default configs -i even installed a new windows again just in case ,that also didnt fix anything so FINGERS CROSSED on anyone who can magically come up with a solution to fix this problem. my specs are : Asus p5q Deluxe ,modified bios 2301 Sapphire 4870 1gb 4Gb rams intel Q6600 oc @3.2 ghz.
