jason g Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Specs Ga-ep45-ud3r XFX gtx285, q9550 at 3.5 Had so much trouble trying to get snow leopard and older installs then i found the KAKEWALK installers. Downloaded the Lion Installer added it to usb, booted from it, Lion installed without a hitch no special flags just boot away. on the restart you click on the usb and install KAKEWALK to the new lion install on the restart you have it, no fiddling sound comes out of the green socket click and pop free just a hint the sounds working on welcome screen. read the PDF that comes with the KAKEWALK installer. The KAKEWALK installer comes with all the ready needed kexts for most gigabyte boards.
