elite562
I made the following changes in BIOS setup utility before installation, under Main menu - IDE configuration to Configure SATA as [AHCI], AHCI configuration AHCI BIOS support [Enabled], under Advanced menu - ACPI configuration suspend mode [Auto]. I put [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] CD in DVD drive, TonyMacX86 startup screen showed up, then I ejected the CD and put 10.6.3 DVD in DVD drive, pressed F5, waited until the DVD showed up, typed -x then hit Enter, the grey Mac OS boot up screen showed up with the spinning thing, but soon the DVD drive stopped reading then screen turned dark/blank. I have tried many times, with and without typing -x before hitting Enter to boot with 10.6.3 DVD, all failed, what did I do wrong? My setup DFI LanParty MI P55-T36 mother board, XFX GeForce GT 240 graphic card, 2 X 4 GB Patriot DDR3 memory (1 module installed), LG GH22NS50 DVDRW, Seagate Momentus hard drive.
