Dudemeister
I have 10.4.6 working on my computer now but when i try to boot to XP it doesnt work no hdd activity and the screen goes black... anyone else with this issue??? sorry im so nub. THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS!!!! Also it freezes there is no cmd line or any activity my comp is still running. I tried to boot though darwin for {censored} and well it froze when i tried to boot xp . i have a hdd partitioned for 100 gb for osx and 130gb or so for xp both are primary and osx is active . Is the Windows XP the 1st partition ? For Windows XP to be bootable it must be the first physical partition on the hard disc. The fact that is primaryis not relevant to its capability to boot. Run FDISK from a floppy drive and select option 4 to show the partitioning scheme. If it is the first partition, try to make it active and see if you can boot from it. If you can't and get a NTLDR error or something like it, try as a last resort to clear your MBR by using typing FDISK /MBR. If that doesn't work, then you may have to repair or re-install XP. If XP partition is NOT the first physical partition, you'll have to redo the whole thing over again. Good Luck
