Hi,

I've Lion with VoodooHDA 2.7.3 and I have a little issue with HDMI output (i had same problem with SL and older voodoohda versions).

when I connect my notebook and my Led TV with HDMI, the video output on tv works good but the audio continues to come out only from the notebook speakers.

do you know why? how can i resolve this issue?

when i got in system pref-audio-output, in DigitalOut (HDMI) section i get "no output controls for this device"

thanks in advance

I have tried 2.7.3, but unable to get any sound from HDMI or SPDIF. Try this, open System Preferences, Sound and select the second HDMI Digital Out from the top. Open Audio MIDI Setup app located in Applications/Utilities and select the second HDMI output and make sure the Format is set to 48000.0 Hz (by default it is probably set at 192000 Hz). The "no output controls for this device" is normal for any digital output and this is not an error. You may want to try using VoodooHDA 0.2.56 - I was able to get HDMI audio using this version. See the info on this link -- http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/10/hdm...-solutions.html Good luck
