Some people like to destroy their installations.. deleting necessary kexts for funs sake.. Anyway, boot from your Lion USB stick, go to utilities, terminal , cd to the internal hdd and copy AppleHPET.kext from the USB's S/L/E directory to the internal one.. and never ever touch this kext again, it is critical.
