iMad4Mac
Hello I tried installing OS X Lion a few weeks ago. And sadly, I failed. I did it with tonymac's method, and I got it installed, but when I tried to boot from the hard drive, it displayed "DSMOS has arrived". And it didn't boot. I have a SL/Win7 dual boot in seperate HDDs (GUID annd MBR) And I wanna upgrade from my SL to Lion. I need to know what I need to do. Based on some research, I may need to delete SleepEnabler or GraphicsEnabler or both. But not a lot of ppl use my mobo (ECS X58B-A2) and it sucks to research. I didn't have OS X on my mind when I was buying the computer, so anyway, yeah. Can I get some help? My full specs are: ECS X58B-A2 Motherboard Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHz CPU nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB 4GB DDR3 RAM 1TB Seagate HDD (MBR with 2 partitions, one running Win7) 300GB Seagate HDD (GUID with one partition, running Mac OS 10.6.8 installed with iAtkos S3V2) and that's about it. If you need any more info please leave a reply and i will try to provide the info. Thanks a lot
aufa333
*install all ur Os on one hdd 'better and faster' *i would recommend to have all the 3 os and not just windows and Lion ,cuz lion is currently not very stable on hackintoshs ,so to have SL as a backup system is better. *install SL then windows then Lion ,use the usb method as most of times it gives better results ,dont use sleepenabler till u have ur pc stable and perfectly running as it gives KP most of times also nvidia sometimes graphicsenabler=no make it work same as the new highend vga from ATI/NVIDIA so give it atry anyway. *its better if u use the retail versions of the Mac ,this way u know what is what and u dont get much of modified sys files.
