Ryber
Hi there, Since I am a total DSDT noob and really don't understand anything about DSDT mods and/or debugging, I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out . I'm running Lion 10.7 (not updated yet, I'm afraid updating might break stuff) with a MacBookPro8,1 smbios.plist (can't find a MacBookPro8,3 one) These are the kexts I'm currently using: Sleep -> SleepenablerNG LAN -> RealtekRT81xx package BT -> Working out of the box Webcam -> Using Macam HD3000 -> Working out of the box Sound -> Latest VoodooHDA And in my E/E folder are: EvOreboot FakeSMC NullCPUPowermanagement LegacyAppleRTC My sleep is working when clicking sleep in the menu under the apple icon, but closing the lid of my laptop doesn't do anything. Also i've got no power management (I know its because I'm using NullCPUPowermanagement, but again I'm afraid removing it will result in a KP) Thanks in advance ! The person who would fix this would be my eternal hero Edit: Added the send_me.zip send_me.zip

Ryber
Okay I think I figured it out. Going to do a fresh installation of 10.7 with a 64bit boot.plist as my current setup (without the DSDT) will only boot with i386. I'll keep you posted Maldon! And yes, you are my frickin hero for making me a custom DSDT!

Ryber
I've got the machine running now. When it manages to boot it blazing fast and never KP's. However, it only boots 1 out of 10 times. It KP's on IOUSBFamily when it's booting. Also my sleep isn't working (it doesn't enter S3 state nor does closing the lid do anything)
