mediamac Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Hi, I have connection dropping issue when using D-LINK DFE -538TX REV D5 which uses RTL 8139 chipset and you all know it is a very problematic card.I have it in a PCI slot and i installed every possible solution that are posted related to osx86 community.Nothing works and the connection drops after sometime.The reason why i posting here is the card works fine on ipc 10.5.6 and no connection dropping and also it works on lion with CPUS=1 on boot. I don't know why. Is there any fix to utilize the same result as of leopard in osx lion.It will help many others also.I prefer this card rather than my wi-fi because the speed is excellent compared to wireless.
