richtig Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Has anyone tried using the new 10.7.1 OSX .dmg file (the newly updated installer direct from Apple) for a fresh installation on a Hackintosh? I'm guessing that there shouldn't be any significant new problems, but you never know... Also: can someone that has already downloaded the 10.7.0 .dmg file obtain the new 10.7.1 .dmg installer without paying Apple more $$'s? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

starobrno1 Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Yep it works, I purchased the 10.7.0 installed it and then upgraded to 10.7.1. I even did a fresh install to a new HDD I bought once I followed the tips Stillwinfan give in the sticky and managed to get a "clean" Lion DMG.
