themacmeister
Hi all, I just switched my truecrypt setup from two large container files, to an actual disk partition. The disc contains a single NTFS primary partition, and a TrueCrypt (hidden) extended partition. The TrueCrypt partition has no drive letter set in Win7. This setup works fine under Windows7, but neither of the partitions show up under Snow Leopard 10.6.8. The disc shows up in Disk Utility as a single partition of the full disk size, which cannot be mounted. I am using TuxeraNTFS 64bit, so that may very well be the reason. I have yet to try anything with SL's built-in NTFS support, nor 32bit boot. Any help or ideas would be welcomed. I wouldn't think that extended partitions would worry Snow Leopard? Cheers. themacmeister
Shameless Bump, with added info. Hard drive used is partition of OSX drive! GUID partitioned, added one truecrypt (hidden) partition, and last partition on the disk is NTFS partition (empty). I am backing up the 1.2TB on there, and doing a complete reformat. Any help on any reasons here would help a great deal. Cheers.
